Yesterday I was playing with my Avatar creating myself a new alter ego. A few months ago, I bought my Redgrave Edward skin. I figured that you can’t have a Edward skin with out creating an vampire alter ego. Go guys meet Xander my new Vampire alter ego. I washed him up and made him all pretty for your viewing pleasure.
Ever since I was in middle school I have been reading Vampire novels. I even read the first Twilight book even though I hated it. What I like about the vampire genre in general is how each author takes their own spin on the rules. For example, lets compare Anne Rice, Charlaine Harris and Stephenie Meyer. In Anne’s books, vampires turn into ash almost automatically when coming in contact with sun. The Harris’ books (Aka Trueblood) burn slowly and Meyer’s vampire, well, they sparkle. Xander is more of an Amelia Atwater Rhodes. Her vampires can live in the daylight, but they don’t sparkle.
