I have decided that this week is going to be Fantasy week. Every day this week I will highlight something I found at the current Fantasy Faire 2012. It gives me a change to play with my avatar a little bit more than normal as well as play with different fantasy creatures. Today I am a faun. But not just any old “Oh hey I live in a forest and play a flute” faun. No, I am the Faun from the Boarder. Or The Faun from Mexico.
The real insperation from this look came from this mesh poncho from Deco. I knew I would have to take my happy anti social ass to Tableau. Tableau is one of my favorite sims to take pictures at. Just with this blog alone, I have taken three blog post there including yesterdays. I love the rolling prim hills in the background which make the sim look like it is truly look endless. The building of the sim were perfect for this shoot. Once I got the poncho and the shorts down I wanted to add a fantasy twist. That is where these horns from Ni.Ju came in.
The horns (or I guess the right word for them are antlers) from Ni.Ju are one of my favorite buys so far at Fantasy Faire 2012. I got the horns in white but they also come in black and brown. They are also a donation item for the event. Pearls drape down from the antlers like Christmas lights which make the horns really pretty. I almost wish Ni.Ju included a low prim wall mount option. The Pearls can be texture changed into sixteen different options. When you buy the antlers, you get one with armor and one with out. The armor comes in four options as shown above. Be sure to check out Ni.Ju’s booth at the Nu Orne sim and pick these bad boys up.
Antlers weren’t the only thing I bought this week. I also picked up Body Co’s new male skin. Breeze is a handsome skin with a very photo realistic face. At first I was unsure if I was in love with the skin due to the shading on the lips. But once I tried on the demo and saw how it worked on my face I knew I had to have it. The skin will run you 1,500 linden for one tone. However each town comes with four brow and hair options shown above. Plus lets be honest, a few years ago 1,500 lindens would buy you a one tone skin with no options not event a hair base. It’s amazing how far we have come. I bought the skin for the blonde option, but I have to say I may be in love with the red brow and hair base a little more.
