One of the things I love about summer are the tanktops. In real life I do not wear them as often do the the fact that I am not allowed to when I am at work but in secondlife I buy up as many as I can find. On one of my Marketplace rundowns I came across these tanktops from Redgrave. They were pretty cheap and you got more than one for the price. Needless to say, I grabbed them up. I rushed to go put them on when I saw only one a few mesh items (no sizes), and an alpha. Now I was thinking to myself “What the Taco is this snuff.” And just when I was about to write an angry notecard I clicked on one of the items. Boom! Liquid mesh. It fit like a glove. Now I am hooked on the stuff. I don’t need to tweak my shape it just fits and pours on to my avatar kinda like…well liquid. I guess that’s where the name is from.
Now that I had my tank top I need to put a look together. I found a nice pair of shorts on the Marketplace. Now, the shorts are from a mesh kit. You can tell by the fact that you will see the same mesh design with a different texture on top. I am not really against kit items. Truly I am not. However one of the things I find funny is you will see the same kit being used over and over again but the prices will be different. Let’s take for example those shorts from Nerd Monkey. Even thought there are many shorts that look just like this one Nerd Monkey was selling their shorts for L$280. Not only did I think the price was good, you also got 21 other recolors plus a color change hud. (If you wanna make Gabe happy, include a color change hud. ) On the same Marketplace page another store (I am not going to say which one) had the same Kit shorts, one color, no texture change hud, for L$99. I just paid L$280 for 21 pairs of shorts. That comes out to about L$12 a short. Talk about a deal
