So, if you know me I seem to go threw this pattern of turning into a ginger for a while than switching back into something else. I guess we can call this being a wereginger. A few days ago The Men’s Department opened and boom! There was a skin with a red brow base. That sort of made the whole floodgates of being ginger open up wide. With that being said, here is a look with the ginger me.
As I mentioned before. The skin is from this round of The Men’s Department. The skin comes from a brand called Birdy and comes with four different brow options (red, brown, black, bare). With the skin I added a freckle layer from PXL and threw on some LeLutka hair. I picked this style up this past Hair Fair. Most of my ginger looks have long hair. I don’t really know why because it loos pretty?

So the other night I was playing around with my new look. I went over to The Department and picked up this shirt from Etham. The collar, the bottom, and the shirt is all color change along with the spikes. I had fun with this look.

So on Saturday Hair Fair opened. I some how managed to get in on my 10000 try. I did buy some hairs which I will blog this week or next but I wanted to show case one of my favorite hair styles from Discord Designs that I was sent in a blogger pack. Discord Designs is a name I have been using on my blog for a while back when I had that really cool mustache thing going on. Other than epic facial hair, one of the things this brand is really known for is dread locks. Now if you have been following my blog for a while you know I have a love for the dreads. So naturally, I was excited to get blogger copies of Discord Design’s hair fair items and even more so when these amazing, stunning, fantastic locks rezzed on my head.
These dread locks called Cosima are by far, hands down, no runner ups, my favorite Hair Fair item from Discord Designs this year. Don’t get me twisted (Like these amazing locks) the other styles are great in their own light but nothing holds a candle to these locks. The dreads themselves are mesh and come in three sizes to fit almost anyone. Add the included hair base gives the effect like these hair to make these locks are pulled from the scalp. If you some how manage to get into Hair Fair check out the Discord Design’s booth on the Cloud sim
Hey guys, do you know what tomorrow is? Hair Fair 2013! That’s right. This year I was not chosen to go to the blogger preview but some designers have been kind enough to send me copies of their items this year. One of these designers being the owner of Amacci. When I rezzed all four of the hairs one caught my eye. It looked like it was just made for Gabe. That hair being Tom. The one in today’s look.
Tom uses one of the effects I like in some female hair styles. The use of the hair base to create a tight ponytail look. The hair is resizable with a click. Though the hair is mostly mesh, the bun has small flexie prim bits that move when you do. I personally love this effect, it reminded me how much I missed my hair moving when I danced or when my ao played. Tom also comes with a texture change hud for the hair band. If you’re a guy who digs longer hair check this one out.

Yesterday I was trying to do a blog post when my secondlife was all “Hey you need to upgrade”. At first I was super annoyed. I managed to get my outfit perfect, the shadows where I wanted, and the angle of my photo perfect. I knew that Linden Labs were making improvements on the viewer, some rezzing faster thing, and this upgrade made it take into effect. Still I went along with the upgrade, went to plurk to bitch and that was when I found out the one thing I was waiting for. The one reason why I bought the swim wear from FATEwear (besides it looking good), the one reason I even bothered to play around with the beta grid; materials.
Back when I got the FATEwear swim suit above one of the factors to that was the wet and sheen options. I was a little upset that I had to wait for the material viewer. To my knowledge, materials is a way for designers to make their clothing look shiny. I guess it’s almost the same as if you were to add a shine to a prim or at least that’s my understanding of it. You can see by this photo the difference between the two. In this example the one on the left is just the Ian bathing suit and the one of the right is the wet one. Anywho, that’s all, I wanted to share with you the sexiness which is Materials and give you yet another reason to go get FATEwear’s swimwear

One of the things I love about summer are the tanktops. In real life I do not wear them as often do the the fact that I am not allowed to when I am at work but in secondlife I buy up as many as I can find. On one of my Marketplace rundowns I came across these tanktops from Redgrave. They were pretty cheap and you got more than one for the price. Needless to say, I grabbed them up. I rushed to go put them on when I saw only one a few mesh items (no sizes), and an alpha. Now I was thinking to myself “What the Taco is this snuff.” And just when I was about to write an angry notecard I clicked on one of the items. Boom! Liquid mesh. It fit like a glove. Now I am hooked on the stuff. I don’t need to tweak my shape it just fits and pours on to my avatar kinda like…well liquid. I guess that’s where the name is from.
Now that I had my tank top I need to put a look together. I found a nice pair of shorts on the Marketplace. Now, the shorts are from a mesh kit. You can tell by the fact that you will see the same mesh design with a different texture on top. I am not really against kit items. Truly I am not. However one of the things I find funny is you will see the same kit being used over and over again but the prices will be different. Let’s take for example those shorts from Nerd Monkey. Even thought there are many shorts that look just like this one Nerd Monkey was selling their shorts for L$280. Not only did I think the price was good, you also got 21 other recolors plus a color change hud. (If you wanna make Gabe happy, include a color change hud. ) On the same Marketplace page another store (I am not going to say which one) had the same Kit shorts, one color, no texture change hud, for L$99. I just paid L$280 for 21 pairs of shorts. That comes out to about L$12 a short. Talk about a deal

Normally I try hard to stay away from events. I find that a good chunk of the time the lag is so bad that it takes you a full minute to walk one inch. Added to the fact that a lot of these events are geared to women that sometimes I feel as a male avatar it would be a waste of my time just to go and grab one or two items. Despite all this, either out of boredom or peer pressure from plunk, I jumped over to Summerfest and boy, was I glad I did.
I somehow managed to get into Summerfest on my second try which is not all that common for a Secondlife event. When I landed, I was greeted with the sound of the beach boys, the sound of the ocean, and some really fun finds.

So an amazing event opens tomorrow. I bet you never heard of it. It’s called The Arcade. Today I swung by for blogger preview day and picked up a few amazing items. For this look and this picture I am using two of the amazing items you can win at the event. The first item would be the Boom Nature’s Crown and a Teardrop Trailer for the store Floorplan.
In this look I am also using the amazing Mesh Feet from Ispachi. I am going to do a blogger blog post with all of it’s features but for this look I am just going to give a bit of a preview. Trust me these things are amazing.

I have a love affair going on with Military style jackets. I few blogs ago, I talked about how I loved the Peacoat from this round of the Men’s Department. Peacoats are normally part of the Navy uniform. Which is why I was trilled to see it. Now picture my joy when I came across this Military style jacket from Aitui.
The coat comes in three colors. Grey (Above), Black, and a Red tone. Right now, I have only the Grey one. I plan on buying the other colors here soon. I am also in love with these boots. The full image above doesn’t show off how epic they are, but I included a detail shot in the credits bellow.
While I have your focus I am going to toot my own horn again. Remember how I talked about The Arcade coming back in March? Guess who is going to get early blogger access. This guy! Which means I have to start saving up my lindens.

Hello followers. Or people who just come to my blog to mock me. I see you boo, I see you. Today I have a few more things to sort of write about. But before I do that, I sort of owe a few people and apology. You see, near the end November I sort of took a long break from this blog. Most of it was spent offline. During this time, I was sent a few review copies that I am just now coming around to open up. One of these items is Hoody Vest from Zanzo. I always feel a little bit guilty when I am sent something and it takes me a while to cover it on this blog. However, I am going to try this month to try to blog at least five days a week.
Now with the whole “I am a bad review blogged” out of the way. Let’s get to the outfit. As you can see I am still rocking these leather pants. I can’t help it, my backside looks good. I am also rocking some CheerNo hair. Speaking of CheerNo hair, did you know they were having a sale on a few of their hair styles? It’s true. A few of the old styles are being marked down to L$ 179. The even older styles are going to be L$ 99. Now there prices are for the fatpacks meaning you get ALL THE COLORS. If you are like me and sort of cycle between hair colors, this would be perfect for you. But hurry, the sale won’t last long and a these styles are going to be taken out of the store to make room for new ones.
Oh yeah, whic
