Yesterday, I was going to blog all these cool things. I was going to bring back Friday favorites and be all “Hey there is this cool event coming out in February called Global Domination.” I was going to say that “It will start the 14th of this month and end the 28th” I was going to say something like the event is this cool Riddle puzzle game and how you get prizes. I was even going to link to the page on “How you could take part” But yesterday I was too busy…standing at gay hook up sims dressed like a slut.
My time in secondlife can be split into two groups. On one hand, I spend it shopping or playing dress up. On the other, I bounce around between two gay hook up sims dressed in the look above (Or something similar). On this particular day, I was at one where all the leather people hang out. I never really get to share the outfits I create to fit in. Mostly because I get bored, go else where, get dressed and blog. But today for pure shits and giggles, I wanted to share the reason why I was too busy to bring up Global Domination

I feel like I owe you guys this long sort of post saying things like “Hi I am back” And going into why. But I am not going too. Instead for my little intro rant. I want to talk about kittens. I love kittens. Yes.
Now with my little I love kitten rant out of the way here is a look for you.
This look would not be very cat friendly being mostly all black. Can you just picture the amount of lint brush rollers you would have to use to get all the cat fur off of your crisp black sweater? And what if the cat was one of those furry white ones? Oh hell. Talk about a mess. Speaking of sweater. This one from Levenchy was free on the secondlife marketplace. It’s one of those deals where the designer is like “You know, I could just give you the mesh demo with the sweater with the word demo written all over it. But I want to be cool and sort of just give you a demo you can use forever.” I find a lot of stores do this and a lot of them are on the marketplace. So to those designer; thank you for saving me some lindens.

This round of The Men’s Department. There was something every off. The event itself normally has clothing, hair and skins for men. Often times they also have different furniture items and poses as well. This time, one of the stores put up a set of creepy twins. I was inspired by these two twins to create a look. Not only did I create a look, I also created a new character. Meet Vince. The younger brother of Voiktor and Ivan Creep.

You know sometimes when I write a blog, the worst part is the titles. But sometime’s it’s the words. I try not to be a picture blog and try to share or give feed back on what I am blogging but sometimes (often) I end up zoning out on a blank page for a few minutes on end some times even hours. Today was one of these days. I don’t know if I should talk about it being cold right now and how much I hate it or the fact that I am still on a fancy color hair kick. So I guess I will just give you a picture now.
You know how in the last post I was all “Burley has an amazing hair texture pack blah blah I wish they had more of these options in different styles.” The hair above is one of them. Luckily you can color tint Burley’s mesh hair. Today, I felt like a being a lavender color.

So, if you cannot guess, I am on a unnatural color hair kick. I blame it on the fact that I spend my time googling images of pretty male models. A few of them have amazing hair and I end up wanting to redo the hair in secondlife. Lucky, Burley has a few colors to sooth my color lust with their Magnate Yogurt pack. Real quick reminder, you have to be in the Burley update group. The group fee is 50L but it is worth the additional cost for these colors.
However, I have to wag a finger at Burley for a moment and say I wish that this color option was available for EVERY style they do. Right now it is not and out of the newer styles they just released. Only one of the male ones have the Magnate Yogurt pack.

Oh hey guys! I have a new look for you. But before I get started I want to talk to you about something. What I am not going to talk to you about is the fact that The Men’s Department may be changing rounds, or that Burley still rocks, or the fact that Arcade is still a thing. No no I am going to talk to you about balloons.
I fucking love balloons in both worlds. Balloons have been my favorite as a little kid. I remember a long time ago there was this like Balloon vending thing and you would go, put your money in and it would blow up an balloon right in front of your eyes! It was magic. In secondlife when ever I see a good quality balloon (surprisingly these are hard to come by) I buy that shit up. I hardly ever blog my balloons but since like before, Arcade is still a thing and there is a balloon gotcha. (it’s outside under the tent)
Before I get to today’s look I want to make a quick update on my last post. Being the forgetful person I am, I kinda, well lost the log on info for the password I set the formspring account to. Which is all fine and dandy but I also forgot the password for the account. Mind you I wrote that long post super late at night. So, I made a new one. You can leave your styling challenges and request here. I also am rethinking of renaming that little project maybe… I don’t know.
Now lets return to today’s blog look.
I was going to start my alter ego project today but I was kinda thrown off when I got bit by the inspiration bug that fell out of one of the new CheerNo hairs. The Milan hair is my favorite of the three releases simply because I can see my face. I am not saying the other CheerNo hairs are bad. It’s just right now my thing is having two different color eyes and I’ll admit, being the narcissist I am I like to see off my face. Plus the hair also shows off the Tableu Vivent skin at the Fairy Tail event taking place on a platform above the Glam Afair sim. The surl to the event can be found here.
I have decided that this week is going to be Fantasy week. Every day this week I will highlight something I found at the current Fantasy Faire 2012. It gives me a change to play with my avatar a little bit more than normal as well as play with different fantasy creatures. Today I am a faun. But not just any old “Oh hey I live in a forest and play a flute” faun. No, I am the Faun from the Boarder. Or The Faun from Mexico.
