Spiked Glamour

25 Feb

So, you know how I said I was going to be a Arcade Blogger for March. I am and I am super excited.  I just got my first Arcade Blogger pack from Gizza. At first when I saw it I was like “Oh sad face there is no way I can make that fit my avatar” From the vendor ad it looks like one piece but thank -insert spirit here- it comes in four pieces. The two shoulders parts, the chain and a pearl necklace. From this look you can see that I am just using the shoulders. The Arcade opens March 1st.

Spiked-Glamour

I matched the  shoulder pads with the grown up suit from FATEwear. I thought it was perfect since yesterday was “The Oscars”  (I just watched them today. How great was Adele).  One of the many things I love about this suit is the fact you do not have to wear the tie made to go with it. Bowties  are just more classy than straight ones. I hope you enjoy this look and stick tune to TragicllyStyled for your Arcade cover.

Street Smart

23 Feb

I had to redo these photos because secondlife was like “You know what would be cool? It you wore two different hairs with out knowing it.” I didn’t notice I was wearing two different hairs until I went to put in the credits. I was like “Well that’s why this hair looked so off.” So, I guess I need to pay more attention.

Street-Smarts

I really don’t have much to say about this outfit. The coat is a newer item from FATEwear that I love. FATEwear to me is that one brand that makes classy grown up clothing. I am always happy when he has a new release because I get to play adult dress up time.

In The City

29 Jan

One of the things I love about secondlife is the Marketplace. I think just on Tragicly Styled alone, I have raved about how great the Marketplace is. I can find amazing items in one place and can pretty much plan an outfit. Much like I did with the look bellow.

In-The-City

The top for this look I got back when I was planning my style piece for Avenue (Shameless plug). But I didn’t end up using it. So, I was like “Well how am I going to style it.”.  Since the top was simple, I wanted something to pop out which is when I came across these mesh leggings for men. I paired it with suspenders and these studded boots. Hey, if I have any designers reading this, can we PLEASE add more studs and spikes to men’s wear? Like for real, I would not mind a blazer with studded shoulders.

The Crisp of Fall

9 Nov

Fall is here! Thank god fall is here. I think I said this before in past writings but fall is one of my favorite seasons. The leafs change colors and cover the ground covering the ugly dead grass. The hair is cooler and it’s okay to layer. For today’s look, I have a simple layered outfit for you. I enjoy this outfit very much and have not changed out of it yet.

One small tip. To create a layered look with mesh can be hard now a days given that currently you wear a mesh item over another one with out it looking funny. If a designer does not create a full mesh layer look it is almost impossible. This is where clothing layers come in. The blue turtle neck is a clothing layer with a prim (Or mesh it could be mesh) attachment.

8bit City

31 Aug

One of the things I hate about blogging is naming blogs. Honestly I don’t think of blogger names until I am about ready to save the images from PS which is why this blog post really has nothing to do with the title. Well except the glasses are suppose to be 8bit. But other than that no.

The Formal Kind Of Town

21 Jul

Hey guys, sorry for the gap in-between post. I was working on another project and that took up a lot of my time. But I finished the project and it’s now time for me to pick up on my hair fair blogs. This post I am using an amazing male hair from Lamb. It’s  a well done hair that comes with the hair base.  I hope in the future that Lamb continues doing hair for men. If this hair is a sign to things to come I am excited.

Hair Fair Trip One

13 Jul

Hair Fair 2012 is almost upon us. I was lucky enough to get early access. The fair itself is broken up into four sims, garden, flower, sand and water.  I was pleased with the amount of male hair (or hair that looks good on a male avatar) at the fair itself. I’d like to show you the hairs I bought today. In this post the store name and the sim name is in bold. The fair is not open to the public but once it does I will add the surls to the sims bellow.

Lets begin with these three hairs starting with on one on the left. The hair on the left comes from Illusory and can be found on the Sand sim. The Misunderstood hair is a great value at $L 300. For that price you get 9 different color option plus hair bases just in case your current skin doesn’t match the hair or does not have one. I bought the dip pack because I am addicted to multi-color hair.

This fun colored hair comes from the double dip texture options from Epoque. The hair called Heartbreaker, is the only male hair at this store’s booth this year which is on the Water sim. The hair is mesh but it’s resizeable which is great for me because I have a huge head. The double dip texture pack will cost you L$299 for five color options

The last hair in this picture is called 6th Avenue Heartache and comes from Exile. The hair is mesh but is modable when it comes to size. For L$250 you get  five different hair color options. The Exile hair is a perfect hair if you want to dress up or dress down. You can find the Exile booth at the Sand sim.

This hair from Entente is called Etienne and can found of the Garden sim. The hair is a very neat looking hair and hat combo. The hat comes with the color in the image but you can buy additional texture packs for $L 15o. The hair itself will cost you around $L 250 for a four hair color pack. Everything with the hair is hud driven.

If I ever go full time dread locks it would be Discord Designers‘ fault and this amazing mesh hair called Dhilon would be why. The Discord booth can be found on the sim Water this year. I said said before the hair is mesh and when you get the hair you get 6 different colors for L$180.

Project Alter Ego: Meet Skyler

28 Jun

Welcome to the first post of Project Alter Ego. Like I said in my last long ranty post. This is just simply for my enjoyment and for you to enjoy the working of my crazy mind. I almost feel silly for repeating this, I said it so many times before, but when I change my skin or my over all look in secondlife that new look becomes a whole new person. Sometimes these persons live in the same realm of creativity sometimes they don’t but they all have their own view points and own little words created in my head. Today you will meet Skyler.

Skyler is based of a character I created a few years back in a screenplay writing class. He lives in a word where vampires exists and are accepted into the normal workings of everyday life. Think TrueBlood but way way more accepting. Skyler himself is not a vampire. He was born to a loving normal family that moved to a New York type of city when he was young. His father was some typical rich Wallstreet  kind of person and needless to say Skyler and his family was pretty well off. However around the age of ten Skyler’s father lost all of his wealth. ashamed of himself, the father killed himself leaving Skyler and his wife alone to pay off the debts he has.At the age of 18 (he is currently 19) his mother got sick leaving the responsibilities of the household on his shoulders. Dressed for cash, he took one of the highest paying jobs he could get at the city. At a restaurant which catered to vampires.
