For today’s look I wanted to play with different patterns mostly because I just rewatched the past season of Project Runway. All the prints they use! I figured I would print it up by using this layers sweater from Sey. I almost didn’t realized that a long time ago I picked this up so I almost. ALMOST paid for it twice. For a pop of color I turned my hair red. Not just ginger but red. Like the Little mermaid. I kind of dig it!
I paired it up with theses pants from Sheep Door. I picked these up from a round of the Men’s Department. You cannot see them in this picture but the one bellow the cut. I liked the pattern on the pants and how the colors seemed to go well with the top.

Today I was bored so I went over dived into the inventory and found these earrings from Gizza. They are cool and everything but not really something I could wear. There are big and hooped. Not really my thing. So I had an idea. I attached the earring to my nose and stretched it all the way down and boom, an epic nose ring.
I threw on some new hair from Valiant. It’s a nice simple hair with a beanie and hair combo. I love it so much. The hat comes with a texture changed menu with striped and solid options.

For todays look I wanted to use one of my favorite leather jackets I have came across in Secondlife. The jacket does comes from and by now is a few years old. But lately I have been disovering a few new great things that are not that new at all. Take for example the under sweater I am wearing. It’s from Sleepy Eddy and comes an age before mesh. The sweater itself is even texture bases *gasp*.
I paired a few of the old items with some newer ones. Like the boots from Gizza. I used these last look but I just love them so much. I paired the jeans, the jacket, and the sweater with a pair of pants from Pumpkin. The patches of these jeans have a cool texture change option with many options.

Today’s look is something simple. A few weeks back Gizza sent me a copy of their fall men’s release. I blogged the jacket but today I blogged the pants and the boots. I added a classic yet simple top from Deadwool. I am sort of mixing casual and fancy together? I don’t know maybe.
I have been in a grey mood when it comes to fashion so I forced myself to add this pop of the deep red. It’s not super bright but hey it’s a color. I think next look I am going to try to use nothing but color.

There are a few things coming this month that have me excited. The first this is Gizza released a Fall line for men. The jacket in this look is part of the release. It has a cool leather texture with a few really cool details. The places where the leather looks more worn. Also coming up this month is Wizarding Faire 2013. Pretty much an sales event put on by Mischief Managed, a Harry Potter like role-play sim. Some of the items for this event can be found here in the flickr group. The event opens in 4 days on October 6th.
All and all October looks like it’s shaping up to be a good month. Oh that and HALLOWEEN! I think i am going to try to do 11 days of Halloween starting on October 20th. We will see. We will see

This month Arcade turned one-ish. I was lucky enough to swing by and grab a few blogger copies. In this look I am using the glasses from Glow, the collar from Gizza. I paired these with a skin and a sweater from this rounds of the Men’s Department. I hope you enjoy.

So, you know how I said I was going to be a Arcade Blogger for March. I am and I am super excited. I just got my first Arcade Blogger pack from Gizza. At first when I saw it I was like “Oh sad face there is no way I can make that fit my avatar” From the vendor ad it looks like one piece but thank -insert spirit here- it comes in four pieces. The two shoulders parts, the chain and a pearl necklace. From this look you can see that I am just using the shoulders. The Arcade opens March 1st.
I matched the shoulder pads with the grown up suit from FATEwear. I thought it was perfect since yesterday was “The Oscars” (I just watched them today. How great was Adele). One of the many things I love about this suit is the fact you do not have to wear the tie made to go with it. Bowties are just more classy than straight ones. I hope you enjoy this look and stick tune to TragicllyStyled for your Arcade cover.

Fall is here! Thank god fall is here. I think I said this before in past writings but fall is one of my favorite seasons. The leafs change colors and cover the ground covering the ugly dead grass. The hair is cooler and it’s okay to layer. For today’s look, I have a simple layered outfit for you. I enjoy this outfit very much and have not changed out of it yet.
One small tip. To create a layered look with mesh can be hard now a days given that currently you wear a mesh item over another one with out it looking funny. If a designer does not create a full mesh layer look it is almost impossible. This is where clothing layers come in. The blue turtle neck is a clothing layer with a prim (Or mesh it could be mesh) attachment.

As the weather starts to cool down, you see more and more layers to keep people warm. Scarfs and mittens start to come out and I need more! But here is a look using one of my many scarfs I collected.
This look is also inspired by a fashion website I came across. The inspiration is seem more in the image bellow the cut.

One of the things I suck at the most
(other than styling) is coming up with blog titles. I always get a look ready, take the pictures, edit the pictures (which is not that hard since I don’t do much to them) and …shit. I have to think of a blog title. If you look at my blogs, all of them, a lot of them have the word day in them. Or they are similar. Like a fine day, or summer’s day or day I slept with your mom. But regardless, I have a look for you.
Every time I do one of these looking using elements that are not typical (most of the times it’s hair) I always feel hear someone say “They will all laugh at you.”. Have you ever seen the movie Carrie (if not go see it) you know the part where Carrie’s mom is trying to stop Carrie from going to the prom. That is me and my blog. Except unlike Carrie I don’t have magical powers to kill people’s asses if they laugh.
But enough of my oddness. I want to talk about the hair since it is such a big part of the look. (get a better view under the cut). A lot of the times in SL, we are users have to tint things to make them perfect. This was one of the main reasons why I was a little worries about mesh and hair. A lot of designers of hair do not have Gabieglam Ginger. So I have to tint a lot of shit. One of those brands is Boon. I love Boon, it’s a great hair store and I want to have babies with all the dreadlock styles. But I am not in love with the red pack. LUCKLY Boon allows you to tint. To get GabieGlam Ginger, I bought the blonde pack and tinted the blonde option to this color. Same thing with the hairbase which you have to wear to make the style work.
