Spiked Glamour

25 Feb

So, you know how I said I was going to be a Arcade Blogger for March. I am and I am super excited.  I just got my first Arcade Blogger pack from Gizza. At first when I saw it I was like “Oh sad face there is no way I can make that fit my avatar” From the vendor ad it looks like one piece but thank -insert spirit here- it comes in four pieces. The two shoulders parts, the chain and a pearl necklace. From this look you can see that I am just using the shoulders. The Arcade opens March 1st.

Spiked-Glamour

I matched the  shoulder pads with the grown up suit from FATEwear. I thought it was perfect since yesterday was “The Oscars”  (I just watched them today. How great was Adele).  One of the many things I love about this suit is the fact you do not have to wear the tie made to go with it. Bowties  are just more classy than straight ones. I hope you enjoy this look and stick tune to TragicllyStyled for your Arcade cover.

The Crisp of Fall

9 Nov

Fall is here! Thank god fall is here. I think I said this before in past writings but fall is one of my favorite seasons. The leafs change colors and cover the ground covering the ugly dead grass. The hair is cooler and it’s okay to layer. For today’s look, I have a simple layered outfit for you. I enjoy this outfit very much and have not changed out of it yet.

One small tip. To create a layered look with mesh can be hard now a days given that currently you wear a mesh item over another one with out it looking funny. If a designer does not create a full mesh layer look it is almost impossible. This is where clothing layers come in. The blue turtle neck is a clothing layer with a prim (Or mesh it could be mesh) attachment.

Boho

As the weather starts to cool down, you see more and more layers to keep people warm. Scarfs and mittens start to come out and I need more! But here is a look using one of my many scarfs I collected.

This look is also inspired by a fashion website I came across. The inspiration is seem more in the image bellow the cut.

They Will All laugh

1 Oct

One of the things I suck at the most (other than styling)  is coming up with blog titles. I always get a look ready, take the pictures, edit the pictures (which is not that hard since I don’t do much to them) and …shit. I have to think of a blog title. If you look at my blogs, all of them, a lot of them have the word day in them. Or they are similar. Like a fine day, or summer’s day or day I slept with your mom. But regardless, I have a look for you.

Every time I do one of these looking using elements that are not typical (most of the times it’s hair) I always feel hear someone say “They will all laugh at you.”.  Have you ever seen the movie Carrie (if not go see it) you know the part where Carrie’s mom is trying to stop Carrie from going to the prom. That is me and my blog. Except unlike Carrie I don’t have magical powers to kill people’s asses if they laugh.

But enough of my oddness. I want to talk about the hair since it is such a big part of the look. (get a better view under the cut). A lot of the times in SL, we are users have to tint things to make them perfect. This was one of the main reasons why I was a little worries about mesh and hair. A lot of designers of hair do not have Gabieglam Ginger. So I have to tint a lot of shit. One of those brands is Boon. I love Boon, it’s a great hair store and I want to have babies with all the dreadlock styles. But I am not in love with the red pack. LUCKLY Boon allows you to tint. To get GabieGlam Ginger, I bought the blonde pack and tinted the blonde option to this color. Same thing with the hairbase which you have to wear to make the style work.

A gentlemen’s fight

31 Jul

Hello guys, It’s me again with another Vintage fair look. This one using an amazing mesh tux from Gizza. The suit comes with shoes and a fedora but I am not showing those in this post. They are well made but I had this image in my head and went with it.

I saw these images of Justin Bieber did for Complex, he was dressed up in a tux in in a boxing ring.  My pictures are not as bloody because to be honest, I could not beat up my pretty Gabe face. That would be just wrong.

The Man Who Waits for His Ship

13 Apr

I have a new addiction to long mesh hair. Unlike normal long hair, it moves with your body, doesn’t look odd if your avatar was to I don’t know throw it’s head back. However most of these long hairs that are used and made by women. More often than not, the hair looks great from the front. From the side, you see the curve of where there would be boobs and it cuts into the back. However, I love these hairs and will still buy them.

The Man Who Waits For Spring

12 Apr

Before I get started with today’s post, I just want to say thank you real quick to you the viewers. Thanks to you I reached over 3000 views on TragiclyStyled and I could not have done it with out you.

For today’s look I am doing one of my favorite things, using color. Spring and Summer seasons are my favorite in the fashion world. That is when the color comes out. The other day I was walking around Target (So high fashion I know) and I notice a lot of color in the men’s section. Like neon colors! I was happy.

9 Apr

A few weeks ago, I blogged about a new type of men’s discount event called Narcissus’ Room. I was and still am super excited about this event. But another one has come along.
