Today I was running around Gabriel and I saw this top. It’s perfect ad layered. One of the things that seems to happen during the fall in Montana (where I am RL) the days are cold and as the day goes on it gets warmer and warmer. Near the end of the day it gets freezing again. What is a person to do? Layers! Wear Layers. As the day goes on and the tempter goes up strip out of a layer. To make it fun strip to some music but remember keep it classy.
Lately to get a cold winter look I have been wearing the rose cheek add on from [K]lean. It gives the face a sort of a pink hue which is perfect for fall. All I need now is a thing that makes warm breath come out of my mouth. Any one know where to find it?
If you have not guessed by now, I have a weakness for the color red and any sort of coat. This coat from Valiant Co is one of the amazing items in this round in feMESHed. There are many colors but something drew me to the red color. Something about it just popped. The coat has five options of for an undershirt. It’s just a simple tee but its paired perfect with the coat.
The photos for today’s look was taken just outside of Valiant Co’s temp store at The Pea. This sim is the home of The Men’s Department and other stores. It’s all autumned out and perfect for any pictures you may need to take. If you never walked around the sim I would recommend walking around.

One of the things I love about summer are the tanktops. In real life I do not wear them as often do the the fact that I am not allowed to when I am at work but in secondlife I buy up as many as I can find. On one of my Marketplace rundowns I came across these tanktops from Redgrave. They were pretty cheap and you got more than one for the price. Needless to say, I grabbed them up. I rushed to go put them on when I saw only one a few mesh items (no sizes), and an alpha. Now I was thinking to myself “What the Taco is this snuff.” And just when I was about to write an angry notecard I clicked on one of the items. Boom! Liquid mesh. It fit like a glove. Now I am hooked on the stuff. I don’t need to tweak my shape it just fits and pours on to my avatar kinda like…well liquid. I guess that’s where the name is from.
Now that I had my tank top I need to put a look together. I found a nice pair of shorts on the Marketplace. Now, the shorts are from a mesh kit. You can tell by the fact that you will see the same mesh design with a different texture on top. I am not really against kit items. Truly I am not. However one of the things I find funny is you will see the same kit being used over and over again but the prices will be different. Let’s take for example those shorts from Nerd Monkey. Even thought there are many shorts that look just like this one Nerd Monkey was selling their shorts for L$280. Not only did I think the price was good, you also got 21 other recolors plus a color change hud. (If you wanna make Gabe happy, include a color change hud. ) On the same Marketplace page another store (I am not going to say which one) had the same Kit shorts, one color, no texture change hud, for L$99. I just paid L$280 for 21 pairs of shorts. That comes out to about L$12 a short. Talk about a deal

I was going to write this whole long blog post about how I wish designers that created items for men would start using colors other than Black, Blue and Red. But I sort of saw where that would lead. “But Gabe this and this brand uses yellow” And I am sure they do. However, I still feel the majority of menswear designers stay away from pastel colors. Or colors which are stereotypical seen as feminine. I get it, your black coat will sell more than say a pink one or a light blue one.
I still think I find myself a little jealous of the females in secondlife, they seem to have all the colors and patterns I wish male designers used for their items. Like the store Auxilary. Their Collab 88 item this round was a dress with little ponies. I would love that print as a blazer or something.
So the whole point of this rant I guess is, content creators for men. Can I has a pink pony blazer.
With that out of the way, let’s get back to this look. For those of you who don’t know my blogging past, CheerNo was the first ever brand to send me review copies. I have always enjoyed them because they do the thing I wish more designers would (see rant above) so I was thrilled when they sent out this shirt in the blogger group. It’s PINK! I love pink. This shirt and a pair of jeans (Not the ones in this look) can be picked up at this round of The Dressing Room.

Sometimes with fashion, you have to take a break from being serious and just have fun. That is what I did for this look. I took a few things I got review copies of and thought to myself “You know what you should do with these Gabe? Make yourself a unicorn.” So I went with it. This is what I came up with.

So, a few events have started this past weekend that I think you should know about. I was lucky enough to have a blogger pass to both of these and I would like to share what I have found.

Hello Tragic followers. How are you? I hope you are well. Today is a special day because today Zodiac opens today. What is Zodiac you say? Well from what I gathered from reading this blog post, it’s a monthly event where each month designers will create an item based off that month’s zodiac. This month is Leo.
I am also continuing my Hair Fair coverage with this hair from CheerNo. It is one of the three they have this year and is based off a a hair style from the hit TV show Game of Thrown. I have yet to watch the show myself and if you are like me you just enjoy the hair style because it has a pretty crown.
Hey guys, sorry for the gap in-between post. I was working on another project and that took up a lot of my time. But I finished the project and it’s now time for me to pick up on my hair fair blogs. This post I am using an amazing male hair from Lamb. It’s a well done hair that comes with the hair base. I hope in the future that Lamb continues doing hair for men. If this hair is a sign to things to come I am excited.
The new round of The Mens Department just started. Guys if you are cheap or lacking a lot of lindens this is the perfect place for you. There are some amazing designers for you to pick up.
Fantasy Faire 2012 is now in full swing. It is a fantasy themed event with many sims. I like this event because it gives me a chance to play dress up and have fun with my outfits. Today I was dressed like a demon.
