Military on the Streets

18 Feb

I have a love affair going on with Military style jackets. I few blogs ago, I talked about how I loved the Peacoat from this round of the Men’s Department. Peacoats are normally part of the Navy uniform. Which is why I was trilled to see it. Now picture my joy when I came across this Military style jacket from Aitui.

The coat comes in three colors. Grey (Above), Black, and a Red tone. Right now, I have only the Grey one. I plan on buying the other colors here soon. I am also in love with these boots. The full image above doesn’t show off how epic they are, but I included a detail shot in the credits bellow.

While I have your focus I am going to toot my own horn again. Remember how I talked about The Arcade coming back in March? Guess who is going to get early blogger access. This guy! Which means I have to start saving up my lindens.

By The Sea

Around the holidays this year, I bought myself a pea coat  It’s an Old Navy jacket, when I got it it was on sale for only $1o. Now, let me explain something to you. In real life I am a larger man, I have wanted a pea coat for years but admitting  I was a little larger. But something happen when I was sent away to college, I stated to eat less, I started walking and weight started to come off.  Enough weight that I went don’t from a size 44 in pants to a 40. Needless to say, I need new clothing. I don’t really know why we did, but my family talked me into checking out old navy. I can now wear their clothing. Not only that, I got my first pea coat.

While this peacoat from Sleepy Eddy is something I cannot wear in person, when I saw they were this jacket for this rounds of “The Men’s Department”, I had thee same feeling. So I was excited when I saw it and even more excited when it was sent as a blogger copy. So thank you to the designer of Sleepy Eddy for reminding me of that small moment in time this winter that brought me joy.

In The City

One of the things I love about secondlife is the Marketplace. I think just on Tragicly Styled alone, I have raved about how great the Marketplace is. I can find amazing items in one place and can pretty much plan an outfit. Much like I did with the look bellow.

In-The-City

The top for this look I got back when I was planning my style piece for Avenue (Shameless plug). But I didn’t end up using it. So, I was like “Well how am I going to style it.”.  Since the top was simple, I wanted something to pop out which is when I came across these mesh leggings for men. I paired it with suspenders and these studded boots. Hey, if I have any designers reading this, can we PLEASE add more studs and spikes to men’s wear? Like for real, I would not mind a blazer with studded shoulders.
